Farmweld Hosts International Tour
TEUTOPOLIS, Illinois, June 5, 2017 – Farmweld hosted an International Tour of pork producers and veterinarians from five countries: China, Mexico, Myanmar, Vietnam and Ecuador on their way to World Pork Expo in Des Moines, IA. Illinois Department of Agriculture arranges this tour every year to showcase Illinois agriculture businesses and create trade partners to increase exports. Illinois Department of Agriculture Director Raymond Poe also attended the event, speaking of how almost 24.5% of Illinois economy is agriculture.
Tour attendees enjoyed lunch then toured the production facilities, viewing the innovative processes that allow Farmweld to make durable, high-quality products designed for each producer to make raising hogs easier.
