Food Service Grant

The Illinois Pork Producers Association is excited to announce that the Pork Food Service Grant is open for the 2017-2018 school year! This grant is available to all Illinois High School culinary, food services and consumer education classes. The grant is for $500 and to be used to educate students about pork.

  • Did you know that a pork tenderloin is just as lean as a skinless chicken breast?
  • Did you also know, that during stages of life when growth and development needs are high (such as adolescence) eating foods such as pork will provide both greater quantity and quality of protein?

For these reasons, and much more, it is valuable to educate our youth on the benefits of pork! Take this opportunity to receive a grant to cook some delicious meals with your students.
