Illinois Lieutenant Governor Evelyn Sanguinetti and State Representative Thomas Bennett visited Lehmann Brothers Farm in Strawn, IL.

Art Lehmann and his brother, Ken, own the farm their father started back around 1916. Today, Art and Ken farm 1,600 acres of corn, soybeans, and wheat along with their 4,800 sows. They operate in 11 counties and have 21 contract growers. They market approximately 120,000 hogs a year. Art has hosted many tour groups and is a long time and very involved member of IPPA.

Thank you to Lt. Governor Sanguinetti and Rep. Bennett for coming out to learn more about the swine industry and see firsthand a family owned operation.
