Paul and his wife, Erin, have a newborn son, and are from Clinton County. Paul is serving his third year on the IPPA board. He is currently the chair of the Industry Services committee and also serves on the Marketing and Production Tech/Research committees.
He has also gotten involved with the National Pork Board. He serves on the Animal Welfare committee, as well as, the Industry Audit Task Force and the PQA Task Force.
Paul works for The Maschhoffs, LLC as an Animal Care Coordinator. The Maschhoffs are owned by fifth generation family members and have approximately 218,000 sows.
For Paul, being a part of IPPA plays a vital role in helping educate consumers, policy makers, and the general public about pork production while providing resources that improve the sustainability of operations and further education to farm families.
